11 problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states the vehicle would pull hard to the left when brake are applied. Manufacturer was notified. Nlm.
When traveling about 65mph on highway vehicle shakes and vibrates. Brakes are defective and hold a little. Dealership is aware of problem.
Brakes had been vibrating, and dealer repaired them under warranty first time, second time was under protest. Presently, brakes are doing it again, and Ford will not help with problem. Consumer states it has only been 19000 miles after being fixed under warranty and the brake problem has come back again.
Consumer stateed that the wheel locks up while braking also,the brake pedal, drum, rotors and pads were failed and replaced.
When putting on brakes pedal it would go have way to floor before truck would stop.
