While driving, the engine light illuminated the dash board. Was told the speed sensor had gone bad. Two days later the engine light illuminated again. Consumer continued to driving the vehicle. It would just take off by itself. Consumer also stated that the vehicle sounded as if it were going to cut off. The speed control switch caused the black box and speed sensor to burn. Ford has not returned calls and refused to pay for part and labor to have vehicle fixed.
Only after 30,000 miles the check engine light comes on. Nothing seemed to be wrong. The longer the light was on the more the truck started to sputter and cut off while in drive. After being hooked up to a computer we found the oxygen sensor has gone bad.
The engine failed while driving and caused the check engine light to illuminate.
