The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 142,000.
My F-150 was parked in the parking lot of a shopping mall for approx. Three hrs. When it caught on fire and totaled two other cars that were also parked along side of my truck. However, the vehicle was not included in this recall due to the VIN. The manufacturer was not claiming responsibility nor provided further assistance. The vehicle was deemed totaled.
