The contact's boyfriend owns a 2001 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, she could hear an abnormal grinding sound coming from the vehicle, without warning. The contact took the vehicle to mac haik Ford (10333 katy fwy, houston, TX 77024) and was informed that the vehicle was not under recall, and provided the contact with an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
