The contact owns a 2002 Ford F-150. While driving at 65 mph, the accelerator pedal became stuck and the brakes became inoperable. The contact was able to regain control of the vehicle. The failure occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000. . . . 2 Accelerator Pedal problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2002

Consumer states since 05/02, when accelerating gas pedal sticks intermittenly. Consumer has to shift into neutral and pump pedal for it to release. Ts.
