Loss of braking. Brake pedal went to the floor. Could pump up brakes for partial braking, but brakes would not hold. Vehicle was towed to bartow Ford, bartow, FL on 3/29/06, but was not looked at until 3/30/06. Service department could not replicate the problem and could find nothing wrong. Tow truck operator mentioned to me that he had towed another 2004 Ford F-150 the previous week that had the same problem with loss of braking.
Brake pedal went to the floor while on the road, causing the brakes to malfunction. Owner will take vehicle to dealer for check up.
Brakes on new model 2004 f150 are defective.
While applying the brake pedal vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. However, mechanic could not duplicate the problem.
