The contact owned a 2005 Ford F-150. While driving approximately 5 mph, the contact heard a banging coming from under the vehicle. The vehicle was pulled over and stopped. The contact exited the vehicle to notice the fuel tank was detached from the frame of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the contact was told that the straps which held the fuel tank were severely corroded. The vehicle was repaired.
