The contact owns a 2005 Ford F-150. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle stalled when the brake pedal was depressed. When the failure occurred, the check engine indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The dealer repaired the failure and they stated that the sensors failed; however, the failure still persists. The vehicle was taken to the dealer approximately two times. The Ford manufacturer issued a recall for the power booster line. The vehicle has not been taken in to have the recall repaired. The failure mileage was 18,000 and current mileage was 35,820.
The contact owns a 2005 Ford f150. When the contact activated the headlights, the instrument panel lights would dim. As a result, the gauges became difficult to see. She took the vehicle to the dealer on three different occasions and was informed that the issue was a safety feature in order to prevent glare on the driver's eyes at night. The dealer did nothing to repair the vehicle during the first visit. During the second and third visits, the dealer offered no remedy.
