4 Suspension problem

The coil spring on the driver's side strut broke which appears to be a well documented reliability problem on the f150 trucks. The mechanic said that this failure always happens on the drivers side and the spring breakage is always in the same spot. The id tag on the part was u 4l34 5310- but the rest was not legible.

5 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/09/2014

Both front suspension springs found to be broken during routine inspection, heard one break a month ago but didn't identify the source of the break until recently. One broken spring was hanging below the shock, which could have caused a complete failure of the suspension on the right hand side.

6 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 05/03/2014

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated that after stopping at a stop sign, he accelerated forward and the contact heard a loud explosion sound that came from the from the rear and the vehicle stalled in the middle of the intersection. The vehicle was towed to a dealer. The diagnosis was that one of the bolts holding the rear end together broke off. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. 7 Suspension problem

The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150 with michelin ltx m/s2 size p275 /65 r18. The contact stated that all four tires were wearing down in the middle abnormally. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the tires were not covered under recall and they could only provide a 20 percent discount. The contact stated that the tires had a 75,000 mile warranty and the tires were only at 45,000 miles of usage. The dot number and VIN were not available. The tire failure mileage was 45,000. The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the tires were becoming worn at a fast pace. The tread in the rear of the tire was lower than the tread in the front. The dealer stated that the tires were cupping and replaced the first set of tires that were worn. Since then, the tires have become worn again.
