The contact owns a 2007 Ford f150. The contact noticed that the air bag warning light was illuminated while the vehicle was parked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technicians stated that the cable in the steering column that connected to the air bag sensor in the steering wheel would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer informed the contact there was a recall for the air bags which did not include his year, make and model but the prior year only. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
