Cooper discovery a/t 275/55r20 . The tire is splitting apart on the sidewall. Driver's side left front tire is splitting apart and passenger right rear is also splitting apart. Consulted with a mechanic he said this was extremely dangerous. Warn everyone. This could blow out causing a horrible wreck even death. Purchased the tires from walmart on 6-17-2021. . Took the truck to walmart. Walmart told me to return tomorrow because they didn't have anyone there that could make a decision. Please check your tires. These tires have only been installed on my truck for 52 days. Inspect your tires. Research tire companies before you purchase tires. I thought cooper was a good tire. I was wrong. After I realized my tires had started splitting on the sidewall earlier. Today. I knew this was serious. Googled cooper tire splitting. Cooper tire has had many incidents in the past with this type issue. . Reading this will hopefully save someone from serious injury or death.
Hankook dynapro at p234/75r17 on my Ford F-150 had a inside sidewall blow out. Tire failure, bad cord, did not hit anything in the road. Dot number on tire dot:t79jpcyh 1410.
The factory install tires on my f150 fx4 - pirelli scorpion tires failed originally around 10,000 miles. Reported to dealer, they advised the tires were ok. Had no issues. Sidewalls started to crack in multiple places on all 4 tires, tires looked weather checked, and finally had them replaced within 2 weeks of original report. Tires were replaced by dealer for replacement pirelli scorpion tires - alternate tire option request was declined. These were replaced under Ford's warranty. The replacement pirelli scorpion tires started to fail again at 30,000 miles on the truck ( only 20,000 on the tires). Replacement tires were date coded only a few months old, and were also cracking on the sidewalls in the same fashion as the original tires. Per reading information on f150forum. Com - this is a rather common occurrence with this tires.
