Front driver's side seatbelt latch failed. Upon disassembling the latch assembly, it was found that a part of the mechanism broke off causing the latch to fail. The part appears to be cast metal, and it failed along a narrow portion of the mechanism. It seems that this part would be more robust.
Both my airbag lights remained on & off between 2017 until 2019, after more than 4 repairs 2013-2015 on the airbag system, according to the dealer I have to change the evaporator every 2 years. But since the last repair of the a/c in 2015 it is still working. In 2017 I had some throttle problems, I had to clean my fuel injectors and throttle body and change the sparkplugs. Both airbag light remained on/off. On 26 January 2019 my power steering failed and both airbag lights remained permanently on. I had to buy a new racking pin February I 2019. With regard to airbag lights after scanning they told me I have to change the oct ,or the airbags, after the latest scan July 2019 I had to change both seat belts. I still have not change them. I donot trust them any more ( the dealer went suddenly bancrupt Nov 2021) I have the impression my problems are either factory made maybe recalls can shed more light and or bad unprofessional service. My latest problem since 24 sept 2021 is failure of the transmission 6r80 the scan result p0720, p0722 recommendation replace lead frame connector, the filter, gasket and the oil. Nhtsa & Ford have recalls/csp since 2016 till end 2020 on the lead mold frame problem . According to the new local dealer I am not eligible for the recall/csp because 10 years has passed . " the warranty cover a total of 10 years or either 150. 000 miles whichever occurs first" , . I bought my f 150 XLT 2011 3. 7l ecoboost on 13 April 2011 but my mileage is since 24 September 86. 681 miles . Can I apply for recall or csp ? my result of VIN # says 0 unrepaired recalls , what does that mean . I have sent fomoco 3 letters since October 2021 they never answered me . I am an International /foreign client living in curacao former netherlands antilles. Do we share as clients the same benefits as USA clients?.
I’ve been having problems with my truck since my purchase date June 29 of 2021! I own a 2011 Ford f150 super crew! my truck has been to the Ford company at least 5 to 6 times. I have inform the service team that this is a business truck! I have bought a new battery because I was told I was having low voltage but with the new battery I am having the same issues! I have had actually weighed a problem her assembly problems I have had my brakes replaced in the rear I have had converter problems and I was also told that I should get a tuneup but didn’t need it! I have had some bad experience with my Ford f150 2011 super crew and all I ask is for a better experience! I’ve never had an accident in his truck! I never had a accident in this truck!!!! I have had so many problems with the truck!??.
Put truck in drive start traveling down the street and then the truck down shift and jerk really hard or traveling at about 45 mph and it has a hard shirt!.
This vehicle has had the srs light on seven times and repaired. Seat belts have been replaced and partial wiring harness replacement. This problem has been an issue since 2015.
Tl the contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. While driving at any speed, the seat belt indicator illuminated and remained lit without warning. The vehicle was taken to finnin Ford (3600 dubuque st, dubuque, IA 52003, 563-556-1010) where it was diagnosed that the rcm needed to be replaced. The technician stated that there was no recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
This is the fourth time my vehicle has had an srs fault. Repair dealer: bob thomas Ford, 310 w coliseum blvd, fort wayne, in 46805 vehicle purchased from a Ford dealer in west lafayette, indiana in March 2014 with approximately 22k miles and under warranty. High resistance in driver side wiring. 2. Cleaned connector and reseated. 3. No parts. I was charge $236. 99 and I still contend this was a warranty issue and I should not have been charged. 5/2/2016 mileage: 57414 invoice number: 576477 passenger side pre-tensioner replaced under warranty. On April 29, 2016, I contacted Ford motor company customer relations and opened a case concerning these srs problems with this vehicle. I am getting ready to go on vacation the end of this week and I would like to have this issue fixed ASAP, please. In the last 20+ years I have never owned a vehicle that has had this many issues, concerning the safety restraint system. I contacted Ford customer relation again this morning and have a ref number cas-13083709-v7v5c4 I have owned several cars with srs during the last 25+ years and not had this many problems with any vehicle I have owned. The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. While operating the vehicle, the front passenger side and driver side seat belts failed to secure the passengers when the brake pedal was abruptly depressed. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer (mullinex Ford located in lake park, FL) were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 74,000.
Went on a 350 mile trip, I was at a stop light and when I went to accelerate the truck lost all power. I have one of the ecoboost engines. The engine did fix itself and I continued with no other problem, this is the first time I experienced this problem. 2011 Ford f150 king ranch.
