Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2012 Ford F-150

On Wednesday September 30, 2020, my 2012 Ford F-150 was involved in a 35mph front end collision. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle. The driver side airbag did not deploy. I am concerned why airbag did not deploy. After accident, there was an amber "airbag malfunction" warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. In 2012, there was a Ford F-150 recall # 12v198000 for passenger airbag control sensor module (ocsm). This VIN # was not included in recall. This vehicle may have a faulty ocsm that was not included in the recall. I am going to ask the repair shop to save this vehicles "black box" and ocsm in case there is need for further investigation of these parts.

Someone stopped short in front of me. I applied the brakes but could not avoid hitting car. The brake indicator on front control display said my brakes are ok. Once I crashed the seat belt engaged but I still hit the steering wheel with my chest. The airbags did not deploy! there was some heavy smoke though around the seat belt area or from perhaps the electrical connections under the seat?.

Airbags did not deploy even after an accident involving front of truck . Frame of truck had to be re-aligned but aibags didn't deploy. Airbag light has been on/off since I purchased this vehicle and it does not stay on constantly.

I was involved in a traffic accident June 4, 2016 in which a car attempted to make a left turn in front of me at an intersection and the result was a moderate collision. Due to the collision my vehicle lost all power (engine and electrical) and the air bags failed to deploy.

The contact owned a 2012 Ford F-150. While at a complete stop, another vehicle crashed into the rear of the contact's vehicle. As a result, the contact's vehicle was pushed under an eighteen wheeler. The frontal air bags did not deploy. The vehicle that crashed into the contact continued to drive, sideswiped another vehicle, and crashed into a pole. The police and fire department were called and a police report was filed. The contact had to be transported to the hospital by helicopter with a shattered jaw, a neck bone injury, cuts and bruises under the chin and inside the cheek, and inflamed lungs and kidney. The front passenger sustained fatal injuries. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot and was deemed destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.

My son was going to work and forgot his phone came back to get it something ran in front of the truck and he hit an oak tree in our front yard knocked him cold,,air bag did not deploy, I opened the door no responce,,,shuck him he came to so I took him to the hospital head injuries and bruised rib,s,the body shop said to call Ford motor comp, to come check the air bag,s why thay did not go off that refuesed,called them again thay said to bad,now my son is not the same ,and Ford motor comp does not care said thay would do nothing,he might not hagve hit his head if the airbag had deployed,what can I do? mark ragsdale 863 581 3182 thank you and hagve a blessed day mark ragsdale.
