The contact owns a 2012 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the passenger side air bag sensor illuminated when the passenger seat was occupied. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 12v198000 (air bags) as a possible solution; however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 119,000.
