1 Ignition problem

2013 Ford f150. Consumer writes in regards to defective key in ignition warning chime. The consumer stated the ignition warning would not alert that they key was left in the ignition once the door has opened, while the engine was running. The consumer suggest an alert for drivers to remember to turn on headlights and to repeal right turn on red law.

2 Ignition problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2017

The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. While driving approximately 10 mph, the low oil pressure warning indicator illuminated. Shortly after, the vehicle stalled. The contact restarted the vehicle, but the failure recurred approximately four miles later. The contact took the vehicle to the d'orazio Ford dealer where it was diagnosed that a switch associated with the ignition failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred approximately four times while driving various speeds. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired a second time. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
