There appears to be "slack" in the drivetrain, as if it has a bad universal joint. There is often a clunk when you step on the gas when pulling away from a stop. It was recently checked at the dealer while in for an oil change. They said they found nothing wrong with it. I read on an f150 forum site that this is a rather common complaint. The dealer has told others that there is nothing wrong with it. It happens often when pulling away from a stop sign but others have reported it also happens to their truck while cruising down the highway and stepping on the gas pedal.
