He stated that while in automatic cruise control mode, the vehicle would accelerate without warning with a stopped vehicle ahead of him. The contact also mentioned that the driver's front seat would slide backwards without warning while driving at various speeds. The contact had taken the vehicle to corwin Ford nampa (5707 e gate blvd, nampa, id 83687) where he was informed that the mechanic was unable to detect any failures with the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided the same information as the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 11,000.
