I noticed the rear axel or back suspension on this truck is making a very load uncomfortable sound, like when two pieces of metal are rubbing up against each other. . . Its under tension and making a bind on the back passenger side. I got the truck with my mechanic few and body/auto repair guy and observed a 1/4 inch ubolt that holds the lead spring I believe hitting up against another bolt on the rear suspension and I cant access or open the drain plug too check the differential. Also there are a lot of loose wires under the dashboard, that already made me trip once, and im a disabled veteran. Can you please help me get that taken care of?.
The coil spring on the front end suspension snapped on my Ford F-150. The truck is a 2019 with just over 43,000 miles. The truck has not had any performance or suspension modifications over the life of the vehicle. Coil springs are an essential component of the suspension system, absorbing impacts and maintaining vehicle stability. As the coil spring snapped completely, this is a hazard to the driver of the vehicle and anyone driving alongside the road. The vehicle is now at a independent service center, once they identified the coil had snapped, they contacted me immediately noting the vehicle is no longer safe for driving. There were no warning lamps or messages that arose due to the issue. The only warning sign was a "squeaking noise" at low speeds which I requested the mechanic review when doing a routine oil change.
Vehicle sitting in driveway and the left front coil spring broke causing the left front of the vehicle to sag and render undriveable. Fortunately the truck was stationary and no other damage was incurred. This could have been catastrophic if anyone had been driving at highway speeds.
Right front coil spring broke, which greatly reduces handling. Repair has made made by local Ford dealer. No warnings.
Passenger front coil spring broke causing vehicle stability and suspension issues at driving speeds. Item is currently available for inspection. Problem has been confirmed as the part is broken in half. No warnings were presented prior to the failure. . Read more...
I had just returned to my work. Customer came in said my truck made a noise and right side dropped. After towing to dealer they said spring failed. If I had been driving o what an accident. Others have reported this online but I beleive a recall should be looked at. What if my other springs fail while driving? what if I didnt have extended warranty this is a serious concern ps I drive 2 miles to work my truck has 18700 miles on it.
Rear left upper shock absorber mount splintered into three and sheared off. . Read more...
The tie rod broke while driving causing the truck to collapse and significant damage to the rest of the suspension. There were no warning lights on. The truck has been inspected by a dealer and insurance representative and the damage and cause has been confirmed. This incident put the driver’s and passenger’s safety, including children, and potentially lives in danger.
Death wobble car’s front end started shaking uncontrollably. The brakes automatically slammed on and our travel trailer jackknifed on I-65. When the movement stopped we were facing the opposite direction of traffic. Luckily the trucks behind us were able to stop before hitting us. Our trailer is totaled. The car had $11,000 worth of damage.
When driving 5 mph to 15 mph and going over bumps there is a popping noise from the left front wheel area. The wheel alignment is also off. The position of the steering wheel is about 5 degrees to the left.
