Automatic Transmission Control Module problems of the 2021 Ford F-150

1 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Failure Date: 11/22/2025

My vehicle has been with the Ford dealership for about a month and the mechanic and the engineers still have not found why my vehicle is giving a service wrench warning. When driving the vehicle will flash red warning lights which makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. I have paid for an auxiliary transmission pump and battery. This did not fix my truck. The dealership said they replaced the pcm, but it didn’t fix the truck. I seen that these trucks had recalls.

2 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

I just want to provide support for others that have this safety issue, as my 2021 f150 powerboost also has this issue. When making a turn, usually a righthand turn, onto a busy road, the vehicle will fail to accelerate. The delay is not turbo lag, but more so a dead space or lag of any response from the power train. I have found that if I disable the advance trac and traction control, the issue is no longer present. Just wanted to reinforce the confidence at the start and how dangerous it is. You get this false sense of security that the truck is going to accelerate a certain way, then falls flat at a very risky time.
