One problem related to other fuel system hoses lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1996 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front fuel tank stopped working. Vehicle runs using rear fuel tank. If I take off the front tank fuel cap, gas pours out sometimes sprays ( about 8 ounces or so) . Front fuel tank seems to become pressurized. This can happen every time you drive it ( if you remove the front cap). In my opinion this is a definite safety hazard that needs to be addressed. I did some searches on the internet and this problem is quite common. Big fire hazard.
