The contact owns a 1996 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, the drivers seat reclined independently. The contact was a licensed mechanic who stated that the bolts that hold the seat upright were broken. The manufacturer was not notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.
When vehicle was being driven passenger's side seat suddenly collapsed in reclining position. Consumer has contacted dealer. Dealer has ordered consumer a new seat. Please provide any further details.
