One problem related to speed control linkage has been reported for the 1997 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When starting out of a parking spot after starting vehicle, shifted to reverse and the engine speed increased. Shifted to neutral and rpm jumped to 1,000. Problem was corrected and has since returned.
