Two problems related to transmission slip out of gear have been reported for the 1997 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While pulling away from a stop sign or at a stop upon accelerating, vehicle won't shift out of first gear and would stall.
The transmission will not shift out of second gear.
