Two problems related to wheel bolts have been reported for the 1997 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle had two badly worn out front tires. This condition was due to lugs: nuts disconnecting as per recall # 98v-095 . Dealer notified and refused to replace tires without cost to consumer.
Had received recall notice 98v095000 & called dealer. Was informed at that time that the lugs: nuts were not available. Dealer did not know when they will be in. Would contact owner as soon as they come in. So far nothing has been heard.
