13 problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both front air bags deployed prematurely and broke the windshield. The consumer had to slam on the brakes continually before the vehicle had come to a stop.
The vehicle was involved in a front collision and neither air bag deployed. Dealer notified. A vehicle ran the stop sign and the consumer hit the vehicle on a 90 degree angle. The consumer's vehicle veered upon impact and went into an embankment. There four horse trailer with three horses on board jacknifed and caused the truck to head eastbound as it rolled over the driver's side door. All windows except the windshield popped out. There was more damage to the right front side than the left side.
While traveling about 55mph on the highway another vehicle made a sudden stop. And he hit the vehicle from behind and the airbags didn't deploy. Please provide additional information dealer is aware of the problem.
Consumer states while slowing down to speeds of 5-10 mph the two front air bags unexpectedly deployed and broke the passenger side window and hit the driver. Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything.
Twice I was hit in the front end and twice the airbags did not go off. Is it possible the air bags arent in there at all?.

While travleing approximately 50 mph consumer was involved in a full frontal crash. Both air bags, driver's and passenger's, failed to deploy. Front of truck totaled from 2 impacks but no airbags came out.
While traveling at 42mph another vehicle got in the way of consmer's vehicle, and it ran into other vehicle head-on. Upon impact, none of frontal air bags deployed. Consumer and passenger were seriously hurt in the crash. Contacted dealer, and the dealer wasd not willing to look into defect of vehicle.
Consumer rearended another vehicle traveling at about 55mph. Upon impact, airbags didn't deploy. Consumer was not injured.

Vehicle was involved in a head-on collision at approximately 30-35 mph, causing vehicle to hit a steel light pole. Upon impact, both airbag's experienced no deployment, which resulted in head injuries, minor wrist and back injuries. Manufacturer was notified.
Truck was involved in an inter-sectional crash, impact speed about 40 mph, and there was no deployment of air bags. The truck is being repaired by dealership.
