The contact informed the manufacturer of the failure and was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall; therefore, he would be responsible for the repairs. Filled the gas tank full the drove down the street at 45 mph. About 1 mile into the drive the rear fuel tank strap broke in half and the rear end of the fuel tank fell to the ground spilling most of the fuel. The strap look corroded.
