Three problems related to headlights have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Headlight plugs heating up, cracking, and failing. The headlights will go dim or go out completely at any time while operating. Found that the wires feeding into the plug heat up and have caused the plastic plug to deteriorate. Just jiggling the wires can cause the headlights to dim or fail.
Interior lamp malfunctions due to head lamp switch dimmer failure.
