Seven problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2001 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated while traveling 30 mph, the vehicle hit a culvert causing an accident. There was extensive damage done to the front passenger side of the vehicle. The airbags did not deploy.
: the contact stated while driving 45 mph a vehicle pulled out in front of the contact causing a crash. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed and the other driver was injured.
Abs brakes, air bags, and fuel system failed. At 4700 miles they replaced the entire brake system. Had it a mechanic shop and discovered it was the abs. While going 55 mph and making a left hand turn kept pushing the brakes and nothing happened causing a wreck. Kept taking vehicle to Ford, they could not find anything wrong. Upon impact, air bags also did not deploy. Also, fuel lines shut off. This happened on March 15, 2002.
While driving 55 mph vehicle was involved in a head on collision. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy. No injuries reported.
The truck was involved in a frontal collision while driving between 40-45 mph. The truck sustained severe front end damage. The driver side air bag failed to deploy upon impact. As a result the driver sustained injuries to his neck and back when he hit the steering wheel.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal crash while traveling approximately 40 to 45 mph. Both frontal air bags failed to deploy during this crash. Dealership has vehicle. No determination as to cause of problem. Passenger sustained head and leg injuries. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
