One problem related to engine shut off without warning has been reported for the 2002 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Recently four goshen vans and / or buses have caught fire and completely burned up. In three cases the buses / vans were parked and either just shut off or parked and idling when smoke was discovered and then the fire started. In each case the vehicle burned up in minutes (7 minutes in one case). Some of these vehicles are used to transport disabled clients so these are very serious incidents which could lead to death or injury.
