Two problems related to front suspension lower ball joint have been reported for the 2002 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated the upper and lower ball joints were worn down and needed to be replaced. The contact expressed concern that these parts were defective.
36,800 miles went for an inspection sticker and it failed for both upper and lower ball joints on both sides. They are very bad, well over an inch of "clunk" each way. Not noticeable driving. This is just a pleasure vehicle, light use and easy driving. . . . Very well kept truck for personal family use.
