One problem related to paint has been reported for the 2002 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Severe rust forming on fenderwells of bed on both sides. Truck is only 5 years old. Complained to Ford last year but I was 1 week past my warranty of 5 years 60,000 miles. Bed needs to be replaced because chips of paint and rust fly off while driving. My mechanic has the same exact truck with same exact problem.
