Five problems related to wiring have been reported for the 2002 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The wiring harness for the injectors started falling apart. Dealer where I bought the truck new said they have been having problens with the harness. They said they have a new and improved harness that will not fall apart.
My Ford truck would stall whenever you stopped or pressed the brake to slow down at intersections ,I took it to the dealer and they said it had a faulty cam sensor, faulty o-rings and high pressure pump,I dont have the original part only the work order from the repairs that were made.
Ford 2002, f250 crew cab pickup, diesel, started on fire in the driveway on December 1, 2003, 4-5 hours after it was parked. I burned down our garage and the second vehicle that was parked next to it. The garage is not attached to the house.
The vehicle will lose power with the engine light coming on, cause unknown. The Ford dealership has had the vehicle for three days, stating that vehicle was getting some sort of resistance. The vehicle was again failing with the same problem. The consumer states that he had taken the vehicle to another Ford dealer and they seemed to have remedied the problem-linkage accelerator. The windshield was leaking-resealed-still leaking. The vehicle has been okay since the last repair. Now the windshield is leaking water, and is running behind the dashboard. The consumer has also experienced the following: when stopping the vehicle feels like the drivline shifts forward-loud bang, when starting off, the vehicle shifts backwards, the connector is not fully seated(pcm module), and the injector harness intermittenly opens-repair loose left valve cover injector harness connector causing high resistance cleared.
Vehicle was sitting in a parking lot with ignition turned off and keys out of ignition when vehicle some how caught on fire. Please provide any further information.
