The contact owns a 2003 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while closing the camper shell, the shell slammed down and shattered the rear window. The contact also sustained a cut on the hand during the failure. The contact was unclear as to why the camper shell slammed down. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offere no assistance. The contact expressed concerns over the camper shell being unsafe. The failure mileage was 30,000.

2 Structure problem

Failure Date: 06/06/2011

The contact owns a 2003 Ford F-250. The contact stated the seam that holds the roof in place fractured from the front of the vehicle to the rear. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who advised him that they were aware of the failure and that he would need to have the seal grind out and replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
