Three problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2004 Ford f250 super duty. The contact was driving approximately 50 mph and encountered black ice on a slight incline. The vehicle skidded out of control and began to roll over. The front passenger seat belt completely detached and the passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The driver suffered whiplash. The front seat passenger was transported to the hospital and was hospitalized for nine and a half weeks for major trauma. The injuries sustained consisted of three broken ribs, bruised jaw, shattered heart, and ten stitches in the right temple. A police report was filed for the incident. While driving in the mountains at 25 mph, rainy conditions, the vehicle lost traction, struck the mountain side and rolled over. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed.
While driving 10 mph consumer's vehicle collided with the vehicle in front. Driver's frontal air bag failed to deploy. Driver sustained major injuries, and was transported to the hospital by an ambulance. Vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection.
