Steering Linkages problems of the 2006 Ford F-250

Four problems related to steering linkages have been reported for the 2006 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Steering Linkages problem

Failure Date: 04/02/2008

Steering shakes uncontrollable put on new stabilizer at 31,000 helped a little at 51,000 it is now unsafe to drive. It is now a kamakazi truck ready for its final ride. This truck should not be on the road. It's a 2006 Ford f250 sd 4x4.

2 Steering Linkages problem

Failure Date: 12/28/2007

Death wobble in front end of the truck at 40-45 . The truck has been to the shop 4 times for it.

3 Steering Linkages problem

Failure Date: 10/28/2007

While driving at road speed of 50 mph or more the steering will shake after hitting a pot hole or rough pavement. The shaking is so bad that I have to put on brakes to regain control of the vehicle. I have had the steering stabilizer replaced by the dealer and I have installed new tires. The shaking has decreased, but still occurs at a lesser intensity.

4 Steering Linkages problem

Failure Date: 01/26/2006

I have a 2006 Ford f250 superduty and when driving over 50mph and I hit a pot hole the front end bounces or shakes horribly. . It has done it numerous times every day driving on the freeway. . . If you could please check this out im sure all Ford owners would. Appreciate it.
