One problem related to gas tank strap has been reported for the 2008 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel tank straps failed while driving letting the tank drag on a divided highway road surface and dump fuel on the road. Truck shut down with no warning when all the fuel dumped out, leaving no power steering or brakes.
