Tl - the contact owns a 2011 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speeds, a loud clunking sound emitted from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that two leaf springs fractured on the passenger and driver side. As a result, the leaf springs needed to be replaced. A year later, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000. Pm.
