I was driving my truck between 60-70 mph down highway 4 around a slight curve. That's when whole front of truck went into a a uncontrollable wobble, steering wheel was also shacking left to right had to slow to 30-40 mph to bring back under control. Brought to all star Ford antioch CA the tech said front end felt loose that drove with me. They could not find anything wrong so they said they called Ford, Ford told them to do a road force balance. They say that they service manager drove my truck to and from his house two times 100 mile round trip and felt nothing wrong. They gave my my truck said it was good. As I was driving home the front end still felt loose but no wobble, good enough. Six days later the death wobble came back, same as before. Called mike ray ray service manager at all star Ford, he told me he believes my but they cannot find a problem so I should bring somewhere else to look at it. I am bringing to tracy Ford today, the bottom line is the truck is unsafe to drive until they fix it. . .
I was driving down highway at 65 mph and hit bump in road. The truck went into a massive vibration almost lost control of vehicle had to slow down to almost 35 mph vibration stopped and continued on down highway! took into Ford dealership and they said that the track bar had loose bushings!! they wanted 1200 to fix said that my warranty was out on that part at 35,000 miles truck only has 40,000 on it I think the vibration also caused leak in radiator and of course no help from Ford!!!!!.
Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the vehicle had a bent frame which resulted in a shake in the steering wheel. The steering shaking is noticeable upon starting the vehicle and was pronounced at speeds approximately 65mph in addition to the vehicle veering independently as a bump was hit. The vehicle also had a bent frame. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the bent frame resulted in failure with the steering. The vehicle had vehicle alignments, the tire replaced, and the steering stabilized however the failure recurred. The technician also diagnosed that the vehicle's bent frame was acceptable and did not need to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 30,000. The VIN was not provided. Kh.
