A couple of weeks later the truck started hesitating so I took it in for a service and oil change and had the fuel filter changed to see if that was the issue, it only help for a short period, when I was traveling in alabama, the hose blew off and black smoke can out the back and I barely was able to control the vehicle, several mechanics looked at it and no one could figure out what was going on because no codes showed up. Bought a hose and dealership in alabama put it on, continued my trip, another three days passed by and the truck started to jerk and hesitate when I was on a steep hill, I put it in a lower gear but nothing helped I went to a diesel expert and it took him two day of examining the entire truck to find out it was the fuel system , there was metal shavings in the system and the whole system was breaking down, I just spent 50,000 dollars on this truck and was told this would cost 8500. 00 to try to fix, the 6. 7 power stroke fuel system is defective, a Ford f 250 should last should not break down like this. Someone is going to get hurt bad with this truck, dealers are knowing these trucks have problems and are still selling them.
