3 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2021

For about the last 12 months, my truck has what they call the death wobble. This is happened continuously at speeds of 40 to 60 miles an hour and sometimes even takes me off the road and I have to pull over and stop. In addition, I believe the brakes went out due to the continuous wobbling.

4 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 07/08/2020

I was driving my truck on 6 lane highway at highway speeds, 65-75mph. When I hit a bump in the road the entire vehicle began to shake violently. The truck was hard to control and the steering and braking of the vehicle were greatly impaired and the shaking didn't stop until I decreased the speed by at least 15-20mph. This has happened several times when either one tire hits a pothole in the road or both tires hit an uneven bridge on the highway.

5 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 09/23/2019

The abs system and the advanced auto trac malfunction and causes loss of breaks. Ford can not diagnose the problem and seems unworried about the issue. I have questioned Ford about this problem and the response I get is it could be a number of issues. They want to start changing parts at my cost without knowing what it is or not wanting to admit what the problem is. This happens when the truck is in motion and happens without cause. A bell goes off you lose power for a short period of time and lose breaks for periods of time while bells are going off.

F250 death wobble my 2015 f250 pick-up truck is only three years old with 38,000 miles and it has the death wobble. When driving on the highway at 50 mph or higher, pressing the brake and hitting a bump in the road causes the vehicle to go into an uncontrollable wobble. It is called the death wobble. It happens every time on the highway. Tires and brakes are brand new - sill happens.

8 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 07/30/2015

On interstate driving at approximately 65 mph, a vehicle cut in front of my and had to hit the brakes very hard (panic stop). The vehicle veered violently to the left as soon as the anti-lock braking system engaged and crossed the yellow center lines. Took vehicle back to Ford service, took service writer for a ride to show them what it did under severe braking. Said there is definitely a problem but the end result of 2 weeks was it's a characteristic of that vehicle and the service manager said "they're not throwing parts at it to figure it out. Vehicle had less than 4,000 miles on it. I took the vehicle to another Ford dealership and was told the very same thing. So I took the vehicle to a third Ford dealership and was told the very same of being a characteristic of the vehicle. As a side note at all of these dealerships, the service writer I took for a ride all agreed the vehicle should not do this. Was also promised they would contact Ford engineering which not one of them did. Normal driving without panic stops or very hard braking, the truck stops straight. Only when the anti-locks click in does this problem occur. We did contact Ford customer care and opened a case number but they were of no help in this situation. We were told that they can't make the dealership fix this safety problem and they can't make Ford call the Ford engineering dept. It's something the dealership has to do. Again, they determined that this was a characteristic of the 2015 f250 gas superduty as they found one other one on their lot that did the same thing. So this safety braking problem is not a concern for Ford dealerships that we went to as it is a characteristic of the truck nor do they deem it necessary to contact Ford engineering.

Truck intermittently pulls to the left when braking, sometimes hard to the left. If not holding steering wheel tightly could pull into next lane.
