Vehicle was parked on a hill. At the time the vehicle was pulling a light weight trailer (empty). The vehicle was in park when the engine was shutoff. Owner went inside the house, came back out 5 minutes later to find the vehicle had rolled unattended backwards causing the trailer to jack knife. The result was damage to the truck and trailer. This was very lucky considering another vehicle could have come over the hill and hit the truck and trailer and people could have been injured. This is the third instance of this truck rolling unattended. I have contacted Ford, written complaints. A recall was released that fixes a known transmission issue with near VIN numbers but it does not effect this vehicle. Please help.
I have a 2017 f250 super duty. It downshifts from 5th to 4th so hard that it has locked the rear tires up for a brief second. Twice I have had cars behind me swerve. I spoke with my local dealership and they informed me that this is a common issue with these trucks normally caused by the transmission drum, valve body and/or solenoids. There were no warnings before this started and it's worse when the transmission is cold. As the transmission gets hotter the issue seems to get better but will suddenly hard downshift without warning.
Transmission down shifting while driving. Jumps from 6th gear to 1st gear. Barely got it to the pull off which was in a curve. Put my life and my passenger life in danger because we couldn't see around the curve which the pull over was on the other side of the road.
Engine stalls out of nowhere regardless of speed , highway, street, driveway and is now non drivable.
Driving the vehicle and the transmission jerks really hard shifts from 6th gear to 1st gear. This happened while I was driving it. It loses power and won't go the check manual wrench pops up and then the check engine light comes in. I was doing 50mph when this happened for the second time. First time I was doing 45mph. The dealership I had gotten it from worked on the truck and replaced the computer and it still popped up the same code. Hadn't had the truck 3 weeks when the first incident happened. Then they had it for 3monhs and got it back saying it was fixed and it done it again on my way home from work. The transmission jumps gears while driving without warning or anything. Put my life and others in harm.

The engine light activated on the dash randomly while driving. My truck was experiencing loss of power and for the next few days and reduced fuel mileage. I checked the engine code and learned it is a common error with 2017 Ford super dutys with the 6. 7l diesel engine. The code is “dtc p203b”, sometimes indicated as p203b00 is an obd diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (I. E. Engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing reductant level sensor circuit range/performance. I believe this error in manufacturing is a safety risk because it is common within these trucks and can leave motorists stranded or potentially disable the vehicle in the roadway causing a traffic hazard.

Ford 2017 f250 - fuel system completely collapsed, with no warning truck completely went powerless doing 70 mph on the highway with my son in the back of the truck. Luckily I had the mind to pull over safely. What if I was towing a load or similar on mountain roads. Ford said they found rust and debris in the fuel system, they would not cover it under premium Ford warranty. Safeco/liberty mutual stated they tested the fuel and was fine. No coverage either on auto insurance. Total cost was $13,500 to repair the system on which I had full warranty and full insurance coverage. Ford did help with a $4000 customer retention help fund. I am reporting in hopes to save lives, if I I wasn't aware at the time of the complete power failure things could have been significantly worse. I was completely unimpressed with both Ford/liberty mutual on the handling of the scary situation. I send a personal letter to the Ford ceo and got nothing. I believe Ford is hiding on this issue with bad fuel pumps (cp4 version) and trying to blame owners or bad fuel systems.

The truck has only 30k miles on it and last week while driving it on the freeway it suddenly developed a violent shaking at speeds over 60mph. Only by braking and pulling over to the shoulder were we able to stop the shaking. We are trying to work with our local Ford dealership-they think it's a problem with the steering dampner and the track bar.

Experienced a "death wobble" 2 times. Notified Ford and thry said 'OH yeah you experienced a death wobble. Asked if that is under warranty and they stated only if our truck is under 36,000 miles. Ours has 50,000. The truck is at Ford to be fixed with an estimated cost of $1800. 00. We bought out truck may of 2017. . . . . Ford would've known by then that there was this problem, yet sold to us. . . . Knowingly that "a death wobble is a very dangerous vibration. . . . " "this is a massive safety issue" why is it alright to knowingly sell us something that is dangerous?? why are we having to incur this cost? why is there no real recall for this? please help. Ford should be responsible for this cost.
