Tl the contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. After starting the engine and shifting into first gear, the vehicle experienced unintended acceleration and the speed exceeded 30 mph. The contact indicated that the failure occurred on multiple occasions and only occurred after the engine was cold started. The vehicle was taken to longmont Ford (235 alpine st, longmont, CO) where the failure was duplicated, but the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,500.
