Two problems related to wheel bolts have been reported for the 1996 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
We have had four instances on this vehicle where the lugs on the wheels, both front and back, have sheered off. Twice leaving us stranded for hours - including a terrifying night in the nevada desert, with our children, stranded until four in the morning on the side of the road. This is a very serious and dangerous problem.
The studs that hold the right rear wheel snapped off ,causing the wheel to come off which could result in an accident.
