One problem related to parking brake linkage and cable has been reported for the 1997 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 55mph and applying brakes, brakes hesitate to stop vehicle. Contacted dealer, dealer replaced parts 2 times. However, problem still occurring. Consumer states brake cables have been replaced on numerous occassions, due to dealer using the wrong cables, the cables are causing the brakes to fail.
