Unknown Or Other problem #1

The Ford f350 1995 thru 2003 models have the signal turning arm attached to the steering column just above the left knee. When giving a left turn signal the left leg is in the way to turn the signal light on. The left turn signal can be turned on with the left leg lowered in a very awkward fashion and the bright lights activated, this is not very safe driving with the bright lights activated while waiting to turn on a two lane highway or at a stop sign at a four way stop. When giving a left hand turn signal with the lights on dim the left leg pushes the turn signal off every time leaving a person on a level road stopped in the street with no brake lights activated and no turn signal operation unless sometimes he has his bright lights on with oncoming traffic and is holding their left leg at a very awkward position . When turning on a upward incline hill, riding the clutch to keep the truck still while waiting then this is for sure no left signal will be working due to this keeping the left leg high on the clutch . I have written and called a lot of Ford dealers to address this problem and they said with no recall then big deal!!~. I was told to just keep my brights on all the time . I just wanted a new turn signal arm that was turned up instead of turned down towards my left leg. If the turn signal was straight like most cars then plenty of room is available! who let this slip by?.

Unknown Or Other problem #2

The consumer stated the speedometer stopped while driving. The driver was unable to determine the speed of vehicle. The dealer had been contacted.

Unknown Or Other problem #3

From delivery, abs and check engine light intermittantly stay on. El;ectrical system sometimes 'stumbles' and looses voltage. . . As if it is going to stall. . Then it corrects itself until the next time driving is very difficult at times due to poor front shock/spring setup. . Must fight to keep on road at times. I have had to place 500 lb. Weight in rear to improve this somewhat.
