One problem related to gas tank strap has been reported for the 2000 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I was traveling down the highway at 60 miles per hour when I heard a large bang. I stopped and didn't see anything until I stopped for gas. Gas was leaking out the fill hose and I looked under the truck and the gas tank strap had broke and the tank was verily hanging on. I purchased two straps to hold the tank in place until I could get to a Ford dealership. This is the same problem that Ford recalled the 150 and 250 models for. Luckily for me the tank did not rupture and catch fire. The 350 needs to be recalled to fix this problem before someone is killed.
