One problem related to software has been reported for the 2000 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2000 Ford F-350 superduty truck. I heard about the recall (NHTSA #07v553000) concerning the cam position sensor in the International 7. 3l diesel engine. I have had a cam position sensor failure in my vehicle which resulted in hesitation and stalling - an exceptionally fun experience on interstate 25. $312. 52 later, I now have a new cam sensor. Ford is only including the e-series vans, excursions and f-450 and f-550 models in the recall. The same engine, with the same cam sensor, in the same engine location was installed in f-250 and F-350 superduty models. Why aren't they subject to the recall also?.
