I have a 2000 Ford F-350 . I bought it used 6 months ago. I recently had the front right tire losing air. Upon inspection by my mechanic, it was determined that the alloy rim had a stress crack in it. Upon contacting Ford, they said there was no recalls and I would have to replace it at my expense. I have the old rim and digital pictures of it also. This wheel was not damaged in any way, and the crack seems to be from a defective design. The rim did not fail, but had I not noticed the low air pressure in the tire, it may have soon failed. Thank you in advance, robert powell.
