Two problems related to steering tie rod assembly have been reported for the 2003 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Contact statesdthe front passenger side tie rod broke ,causing an accident. Consumer's vehicle was going approximately 65 mph when the accident occurred. The vehicle was at a body shop to be repaired. The vehicle has not been to a service dealer yet.
While pulling out of a parking space the consumer heard a loud popping noise and then lost steering control. The consumer inspected the vehicle and found the coupling that held the tie rods had broken. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop.
