One problem related to cruise control has been reported for the 2005 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1. Driving 2. Cruise control does not disengage when brake is applied. In fact, when brake is applied, the truck tries to compensate for reduced speed by downshifting and accelerating. I have had it happen twice where it nearly caused me to hit the vehicle in front of me. The dealership verified the problem but could not fix it. They sent me away with the problem still occurring and it is so dangerous that I do not use cruise control at all. 3. Dealership attempted to address the problem but couldn't fix it. They verified the problem and documented it in my file with them.
